Protect Your Investment

Buying a vehicle is one of the biggest purchases that we will make in life. Once we make this purchase, how can we protect our investment? Most of our thoughts turn to insurance for those unexpected moments, but protecting your investment in a vehicle goes a little further than that.

  • Preventative Maintenance: Keep on top of those fluid and filter changes. Regular oil and filter changes are a great start, but make sure to check your owner’s manual to confirm when you should change the other fluids in your vehicle, such as coolant, brake fluid, power steering fluid, transmission fluid, differential fluid and transfer case fluid. Regular oil changes are a great way to have your vehicle assessed. You go to the doctor for regular checkups, why not for your car? Check out our digital inspections with every oil change.
  • Rust Protection: During winter, calcium chloride is used on the roads to melt ice. While this helps with traction, it causes corrosion on our vehicles, which eats away at our investment. At Bob’s Transmissions, we are happy to offer Krown Rust Protection. Krown Rust Protection has been proven to greatly slow down the rusting process by protecting your vehicle from the inside out.
  • Attention Please!: Check engine light on? You are hearing a banging, clunking, grinding or whining sound while driving? This can be your vehicles way of letting you know something is wrong and may need attention. It is always best to have these things looked at by a trained technician as soon as possible. Ignoring some of these warning signs can sometimes lead to major failure and more costly repairs.
  • Winter Tires: Having two sets of tires is a great way to optimize traction for stopping and starting. It also helps to prolong the tire life, because you now have tires that are designed for each season. Don’t have room to store the off-season tires? Ask us about our Tire Storage Program.

These are just a few ways to protect your investment. For more information and to learn about Preventative Maintenance or Krown Rust Protection, contact us by phone at 204-475-5590, by email: or by filling out our online questionnaire here:
